Understanding American Football League

I think it's time I understand how this game works. And should start watching it. Since most of my OKC boys do watch Football or Hockey.

And when we saw the Raiders stadium being built in 2018 in Las Vegas, parang it's nice to think na makakapasok ako don some day.

Isa pa, si mommy parang namimilit para daw support sa boys. LOL

Ate watches football with Curt, Mommy watches with Raul. It's time I do watch din.

Tutal before sumusuporta naman ako kay Boo sa NBA, and I think kay baba dati. Then, even though natuto ako manood ng Soccer coz of Jeng, nanood ako ng FIFA World Cup because of Beb.(Nakakalito ba, Boo, Baba and Beb? I know. LOL)

So, I turned on my TV, put Youtube on. Searched for American Football.

I also prepared my nachos and Pink Moscato. 😉


Na-gets ko naman somehow.

Now I need to pick a team.

Ate & Curt's team are Pittsburgh Steelers, I'm guessing Mom & Raul's team are Las Vegas Raiders. Brandon's team are New England Patriots, Mario's team are Dallas Cowboys, and Bryan's San Diego Chargers.

Bryan said, I should pick the City I like and go for that team. Hmmm I like LA, their team is Ram. Parang di cute. Hahaha and he was watching earlier, Bears won daw. They're from Chicago. I like bears, hmm gusto ko kaya ang Chicago Bears? 😄

I kinda like Steelers ata, or Raiders. So, sa kanila na lang siguro ako pipili. Hahaha

And after matutunan ko ang Football, Hockey is next. 😄

I'm not really doing this para lang maging "in" ako sa boys. But if they do watch and if ever I start dating a guy who likes it, I want to support him. Ayoko yun sya lang makikisabay sa trip ko, gusto ko meron din silang gusto na makikinood din ako. Aba, QT din yon. Para fair.

Jason and I arrived at 8:43am, there was a line already. Pang 6 ako sa line. Stood there for maybe 10mins. While in line, the lady guard was checking all our appointment letters and ID's. I gave my drivers license.  And nung time na para pumasok, one by one sila magpapapasok: You need to put your stuff on the tray for x-ray (purse, watch, jewelry, and if you have anything on your pocket. I guess parang sa airport, naka dress ako and walang pockets kaya yun lang nilagay ko), then you can go inside na. There was a line again, screening I guess. The lady will call you pag turn mo na, they will check your appointment letter again and ID, this time I just handed my passport, for me mas madali lang kase yun ID sa pila sa labas). March 25: Immigration Lawyer Appointment It went really well. Atty Visia is really nice. Discussed about expenses, forms, waiting time, etc.  She gave us two options: We can do the petition while I am here in the US or I go home then mag-submit pa lang ng petition, mas mahabang proseso.  Of course we wanted the easiest option. Kaya we asked her also if ok to get married first before my I-94 expires. She said yes, even if they stamped my passport with "Correa vs Thornburgh", kaya she checked on the website, wala daw note sa I-94 ko and since they allowed me to stay and they X'd it sa passport ko, I'm good. And if we get married naman daw, void na yun I-94 ko, coz married nako with an American Citizen. We said we'll let her know if we decided na we needed a lawyer's assistance.  March 26: Dress buying We didn't have much time, so we just went to Macy's and JC Penny. Found a nice dress but besides sa too long for me, di namin maisara. Hahaha I'm fat.

One year away from home

I am celebrating my first year here in the US today. This is the longest I am away from home, my dad, my friends, my brother, from my car haha not seeing Glorietta or Shopwise. Not being able to drink cucumber beer at Rue. Not wearing a face shield. Not experiencing the Manila traffic and the pollution. The noise of the rooster and dogs, the noise of the kids outside, or the neighbors shouting, cursing at each other. Even the all day all night karaoke of our neighbors. I miss my bed, I miss my fridge, I miss driving. I miss the mall. I miss the smell of pinoy foods. When I flew here, I thought I will only be gone for 4-1/2 months. I thought I will be meeting Bryan and Brandon. Thought I'll be back in time for summer and hoping makapag beach na ulet. I was hoping pa for Brandon to be my boyfriend you know. LOL But God has a different plan for me. A better plan. Better plan to what I planned for myself. And I love it. I am thankful for his BETTER plan for me. It truly is worth the wa
