UPDATE on my Green Card Journey: Combo Card

Good news arrived yesterday.

Ever since I found out my I-765 and I-131 cases were approved, I do check the USCIS Tracker app for updates.

Yesterday around noon, I got a notification that my card was out for delivery and will be expecting to arrive at 5ish pm. But since excited ako, panay check pa rin ako, ETA lang  naman yon eh.

3pm, it says on the tracker app, my card was delivered at my doorstep ng 2:41 pm, dali dali ako tumakbo sa pinto at ayun, nasa pinto na yun envelop.

I picked it up right away and opened it. Yey, I got a combo card.

And then when the husband came home, came in with USCIS notice letters (cases approvals)


So happy!!!

Ok, hindi ko nakita ang sarili ko na gagamit (or iinom) ako ng ganito. Well, nung college, nag likas papaya ako, kase akala ko non maganda maging maputi. Hanggang na-adik ako sa dagat. Biometrics Appointment

Jason and I arrived at 8:43am, there was a line already. Pang 6 ako sa line. Stood there for maybe 10mins. While in line, the lady guard was checking all our appointment letters and ID's. I gave my drivers license.  And nung time na para pumasok, one by one sila magpapapasok: You need to put your stuff on the tray for x-ray (purse, watch, jewelry, and if you have anything on your pocket. I guess parang sa airport, naka dress ako and walang pockets kaya yun lang nilagay ko), then you can go inside na. There was a line again, screening I guess. The lady will call you pag turn mo na, they will check your appointment letter again and ID, this time I just handed my passport, for me mas madali lang kase yun ID sa pila sa labas). She then asked me to raise my two hands, checked front and back. And since I already put Duncan on my forms, she asked if I just got married, I said yes, then she asked if I have my marriage license with me, I said yes and handed it to her. Meet my new apo hihihi niece talaga. She is my bebe Jemjem's daughter. And Jemjem is my anak anakan na pinsan. Ako halos nagpalaki don, kaya ayun, mommy tawag saken nung lumalaki.
