On getting a Green Card Pt. 2

I just checked the USCIS website today to see if there are changes on my case. 

And voila.

They received today Jason's birth certificate. 

So I guess we'll just have to wait for the Interview Notice na lang. Oh, and yun Employment Authorization pala plus Travel Document. 




August 23, 2021

Received I-693 Deficiency Notice: this is my Immigration Medical. And they said do not mail any documents. 

So I called the lawyer's office the next day just to be sure. My understanding was just to bring it sa interview, and I was correct.

Just happen to check our case status on the USCIS website. And...

Ok, hindi ko nakita ang sarili ko na gagamit (or iinom) ako ng ganito. Well, nung college, nag likas papaya ako, kase akala ko non maganda maging maputi. Hanggang na-adik ako sa dagat. Biometrics Appointment

Jason and I arrived at 8:43am, there was a line already. Pang 6 ako sa line. Stood there for maybe 10mins. While in line, the lady guard was checking all our appointment letters and ID's. I gave my drivers license.  And nung time na para pumasok, one by one sila magpapapasok: You need to put your stuff on the tray for x-ray (purse, watch, jewelry, and if you have anything on your pocket. I guess parang sa airport, naka dress ako and walang pockets kaya yun lang nilagay ko), then you can go inside na. There was a line again, screening I guess. The lady will call you pag turn mo na, they will check your appointment letter again and ID, this time I just handed my passport, for me mas madali lang kase yun ID sa pila sa labas). She then asked me to raise my two hands, checked front and back. And since I already put Duncan on my forms, she asked if I just got married, I said yes, then she asked if I have my marriage license with me, I said yes and handed it to her. Meet my new apo hihihi niece talaga. She is my bebe Jemjem's daughter. And Jemjem is my anak anakan na pinsan. Ako halos nagpalaki don, kaya ayun, mommy tawag saken nung lumalaki.
