Sam

On July 9 around 3ish in the afternoon, our first embryo was transferred.  We arrived at our clinic 2:22pm and our appointment is 3pm. And they wanted me there at 2:30 with a semi-full bladder. But I was not called until 3 something. They showed us to the room, told me to remove underwear and wait for doctor and embryologist. Three of them came in one by one, Dr. Levy, the embryologist and Brittany (if I'm not mistaken she is a sonographer?) They chitchat with us for a minute, showed us our embryo. Confirmed my name, birthday and told us that the embryologist will get our embryo. They turned off the light, Brittany started the ultrasound, Dr. Levy doing his thing. I cant see the screen because it was being blocked by the sonographer, it's fine. After they transferred our Sam, the embryologist went back inside the lab to double check if the embryo was transferred. He came back and it was all good. And it was done. Dr. Levy as he was exiting the room asked us how's work and

Results and update

Finally all results are out and made appointment with our doctor to discuss the results.  Good news and not so good news.  First, Jason's bloodwork were ok. Sperm count is good. Yey. I on the other hand not so good. Sugar is high. One of fallopian tube is  good, the other is not. Egg count is .01%. I have very low chance of producing eggs. It comes with age daw. Was told even if we try to boost it, not promised and it may take longer.  Was suggested to do IVF with egg donor. Dr. Bedient told us they have a good amount of donor. Don't expect though, they only cover just Las Vegas or Nevada. So, small pa rin. But she gave us hope (or maybe just me), when she said we can pick what race she is, eye color, skin color, sporty, height, excellent in math. Stuff like that. She also said that chances of miscarriage is low if we pick a younger donor (egg). Nasa age daw ito. Even if I am younger and picked older egg, possible pa. But if we pick a younger egg, more chance of success. She to

Another Interrogation with IO

So I am back from our Pinas vacay. Port of entry was Seattle. Long line at Passport Control, but not too long sa wait time. In fairness, madaming window ang open, madami lang din talagang passengers. In Seattle, US Citizens and LPR have the same line, the two others are for NON-US Citizens (VISA holders) and Global Entry.  Jason and I went same time, we handed our passports and she asked me for my Green Card. She then started asking questions: from what country, where's our final destination, how long we were gone. Sumunod, ako na ang focus nya. She asked me if I had a problem with Immigration before, have I ever been denied a Visa or entry in the US my answers were no. (I wasn't sure if what happened last time can be labeled as "problem"). She then told us there will be 2 more stops for us, another interview and next is for agriculture.  She handed our passports to another officer, told us to follow him.  Dinala kame sa room tulad nang pinagdalhan saken nung 2020. My first Birthday and Christmas with JD

This is my first birthday and Christmas with the hubs. First together and first as married couple. Well, this is not the kind of first na very memorable. I am sorry, but I was expecting too much. That is wrong. On my birthday, I wanted to do something special. (Bukod sa first namin together, first time ko to be in a relationship after 20yrs). I asked him to take me to a Japanese restaurant. Well, he did. When we woke up that morning, I was video chatting with my family and I ran to the kitchen so I wont disturb him. I found a card and a little box in the counter. Kinilig ako of course. I didnt open it until he got up. It was an earring that looked very similar to the one he gave me on VDay. He bought same time pala and he's been keeping that earrings since February. Pano kaya yon if di kame nagtagal? Or kung umuwi ako ng Pilipinas nung April diba?! Hahaha After breakfast he just sat in the sofa playing his game again on his phone. Parang, ah ok lounge day kame I guess. Around 11, s

SS

Two days ago, I called the SS Henderson office to make an appointment to get a SS. Background story: It says on my notice letter that if I included in my form that I needed SSN I just have to wait 7-10 working days for my SS card to arrive. But I was not sure since it was the lawyer who filled up the forms for us. I called the Lawyer's office to ask if they asked for SS in my form, the assistant said if I filled here in the US, they didn't include it and I have to apply personally. After days, on hold and keep dropping my calls someone finally answered and gave me an appointment. He gave me a date and time, asked for my name and number. And fast lang, isang linggo lang may appointment na ako. But I am still hoping that the lawyer requested for SS, kase hello?? isang question and box lang sa form yon para lampasan pa nila. Everyday I asked my husband to check the mail. So yesterday I told him we'll check the mail, coz you know.... He didnt say anything and handed me to envel
